134km triangle for the last day and by most accounts it was far from easy . . .

Day 6 and we have our 3rd task. Dalby - Chinchilla(77km) - Condamine(128). 14 pilots made goal on a reasonably hard day . . .

Finally after 4 days of wind and low cloud bases we get a task . . .

Down low there was a lot of drift and I covered paddocks at a great rate and before I knew it I was past Chinchilla and looking for lift south of Miles. Shane was cruising over Miles and Ebbs was past Chinchilla. Now that the road had taken a bend I was on course to meet up with it at Dulaca and I knew from previous Dalby Big Airs that this was the 100 mile mark(160km). Cool!

The wind is back again on day 4 of the Dalby Big Air. We are due for our third briefing at 1:30pm but I am not confident of flying today as the wind seems set in to me. But hey, it's Dalby and you never know . . .
