Keiran and Jamie spoke to Taz, they are happy to get in contact with the proper forestry person.
1 at Hunter, 1 at NE Heaton, 1 at SE Heaton.
Winches
Winch operator training event on 4/5 - 5/5. Training at Denman (Pete M's place).
Still need to chase up insurance re: Tony.
Glenrock Nat. Parks
Thanks to Patto and Keiran for filling out documentation. All of the paperwork requiested has been answered.
Signage information has been submitted for review.
A weather station has been approved for Bombala St.
Pruning Event 7:30 at Hickson St. 27/4/24
General Business
Special thanks to National parks for their work sealing the tracks at Bombala and Hickson Sts.
Thanks to Jamie for fixing the weather stations at Hooley Dooleys and Lake St. Clair
Ward has suggested that NE Heaton be the next focus of the club for maintenance. The launch needs buildup and development.
Ward will be working with Gary to develop a works plan, which will aid in securing funding for the site.
NE heaton also needs a working bee sometime in the near future. Date TBD at the May '24 meeting.
Cool Flights
Jamie O reached 1499 ft from Strezzie, plenty of lift. (21/4/24)
Keiran made it to Dudley from Strezzie, same day.
Incident Report
Paraglider pilot went into no lift at Dudley, came into low wind at the left of launch and had a wing collapse.
Impacted on the rocks and suffered broken bones. Taken off-site by ambulance.
Treasurer's Report
Received receipts for repair/maintenance of weather stations at Hooley Dooleys and Lake St. Clair -$203.84. Matt Hayes will reimburse (NSWHPA)
No other expenses.
