John boy Spencer did a ring around for flying company after his weather prediction was for good conditions for Tuesday.

I shuffled around some of my more pressing engagements and was joined by Adriaan and Donsta for a trip up the hill in John's truck.

About 8kts on the water in the bomb out looked good but on top of the hill, wind compression meant we had plenty of time for lunch before take off.

I was first off, and with strong lift was soon ridge soaring about 800' above with fire to the north showing plenty of wind.

We were all in the air in about 20 minutes sharing thermals to about 4000' with less drift in the better thermals. There was enough height to explore over toward Mt Olive or around the lake

I was rugged up in Horse's old zip up flying suit so lasted to the start of the magic glass off over the lake then finally landed in light X wind in normal field. John flew his fun so he could land on top to bring the car down at a respectable time.

After a few beers at the Royal in Singleton we were all home for dinner at a respectable time.

Thanks John and my other flying buddies for another great Glennies day.

PS: North track is clear of rocks, dry and solid at this stage
