Yarrawa/Denman HG Aero Tow Based Landing/XC Clinic 1-2 February 2020
Hi Pilots we have a mid-season opportunity to tow up and practice multiple launch/ landings over a two day period with formal 1 on 1 landing critique and XC technique improvement provided by the landing master and consistent Australian Champion Jonny Durand.
Getting this part of our amazing sport right makes for a much more enjoyable summer and the confidence you can tow/land well significantly improves your cross country potential.
Brought to you by the local Clubs and the NSW State Association, this is one of several events heavily subsidised financially by the NSWHPA due to successful grant provision by the NSW Office of Sport and SAFA for pilot development.
Intending pilots require current aero tow endorsement and tow equipment/bridle/hook knife
One or two Trike tugs and dollies will be available based on attending numbers
For NSW resident pilots, the subsidised cost is $60 per pilot for each day of mentoring…$120 for two days. Payable in cash please on arrival.
Non NSW Pilots are welcome to attend at $100 per pilot per day.
Minimum eight pilots. Maximum 16 pilots
Each pilot will pay the Tug Pilots their own aerotow costs at A$15 per tow under 2500ft/$20 over

• Aero Tow safety review and operations • 10.00 am towing start have your glider ready. • Landings will be videoed for technique feedback • Evening review and debrief. 1 on 1 improvement suggestions • Pub meal at Denman at individuals expense • $60 per pilot full days participation

• Aero Tow operations. • 9.00 am towing start have your glider ready •
