06:55 Jade is at the helm at Noahs so I can leave, great 5 mins early and the wind is on!!!

A quick drive home, the booze bust is in it's usual spot but they must just be finishing up today as they let me pass, bonus.
Once home a quick dash to get the washing started, load the gear and start back to Dixon park, yaaaaaawn!!, oh well I'll wake up again when I'm airborne.
Check the direction at Hickson street. Ahhh still perfect for Dixon, you gotta love a place that allows you to check the wind direction in 2 secs from the car do a ueee and lose virtually no flying time.
After setting up at Dicko in 5 mins, man I love the simplicity of the fun, quick dunny stop, a float halfway up the hill and take off. Ahhhhhhhh might have missed two good coastal days but this will make up for it. A few low passes and little chandelles , some interaction with smiling waving morning joggers/walkers and off to Scenic. Just underway I decide to ensure my zip would undo and I would be prepared if there was a need to quickly deck it. Zip was a bit stuck, caught on a bit of clothing down there thank goodness nothing else. It did cause me to loose a bit of height and I wondered for a moment if I should go back and top up some more, dicided not to as conditions were perrrrrrfect. Made it around the corner easy and proceeded to play a little down low at the car park.

Then continued on and got to about 670' above T.O. Half an hour into the flight now and time to go and display the Sponsored glider above the Hotel.

Not sure if I'd get back but willing to take the punt as it just needs to be done. After turning around at the Newcastle baths I had time to take out the camera(again) and shoot a few piccies.

Now to see how the up wind beat back goes. Surprise surprise, zero along the nurses quarters and police station, nice lift on the corner above the park and an easy speed run to the bogey hole saw me go around the corner just below cliff height. Some more topping up and about an hour into the flight I'm back at 790ASL.

Must have gotten too close to the Sand man as I was now starting to yawn and blink indicating imminent dozing off. Time to head back to Dicko. One touch and go, then land. Stand there for a moment or two pondering if I should just have another quickeee, ah no it is starting to feel lighter and I do need some sleep sometime today. So a quick slip and slide back down, pack up next to the car and... Here is Conrad and Samuel. Conrad yells out "Now what do I do next!!!" As if he doesn't know. Ohhh yeah he let me in on a few secrets with his Malibu, which probably needs renaming to Mspeed or MalSpeed, it has a VG, faired uprights and skinny wires. So don't worry all you C4 pilots, if you see a MaliSpeed rushing past, its not you, its not him, its the equipment. What a way to finish/start the day T.O @ 07:45, Landed around 09:00
