Newcastle Hang Gliding Club

Hi, I’m a lapsed intermediate hangie from Perth due to arrive 17/11. I’m keen to rejoin HGFA, organize a checkflight and commit aviation asap.
I’m lucky enough to be semi-retired so I am looking for flying buddies (midweek especially) who are willing to take me under their wing and share their knowledge re local sites and conditions.
I am also looking for a snug nest for my Sting3 168 (packed length 5.7m) and longterm furnished accommodation just for myself (divorced, packed length 1.93m). The Sting has slightly fewer hours on it than me – my first wing(?) was a Cohen SL220. I’m neat and tidy, quiet and sober (mostly). Still trying to figure out how a nice guy like me got mixed up with a bunch of crazy hangies! Should have stuck to sailplanes.
