Newcastle Williamtown Airshow 23 (NWAS 23)

The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in partnership with the City of Newcastle and Port Stephens Council is proud to announce the ‘Newcastle Williamtown Air Show 2023’ (NWAS23).

The biennial RAAF Air Show will be held over the weekend of 18 and 19 November 2023 in Newcastle and at RAAF Base Williamtown respectively. The NWAS23 seeks to recognise the relationship between Air Force and the community, in particular RAAF Base Williamtown and the surrounding Newcastle and Port Stephens residents.

NHGC AGM 2023 Minutes No approval yet for watagans weather station, WIP. NE Heaton, Hunter, SE Heaton - next meeting (Aug) Safety Issue - Flat setup, Kieran. Potential for wind to get under glider and cause harm/damage. Recommended to setup, then turn into wind. Gary H went to the US, good flights. General Business Potential for another flying weekend, sometime in spring. 'Training Weekend'? w/ Tony Barton. More events = Good for club health. Best Flight Award?

Hi Fellow Flying Nuts, We will have our AGM on Wednesday 26th July. The Meeting will be held at the Bar Beach Bowling Club and will start @ 18:30. For all financial members (23-24) there will be a $20.00 contribution to your meal by the NHGC. We will also put some money on the bar for standard drinks. Hope to see many of you there. The new season is getting closer, bring it on!!!
